<a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/lsu-tigers/">LSU</a> head coach Jay Johnson is one game away from leading his Tigers to the Men’s College World Series title. Ahead of Game 2 of the Men’s College World Series versus <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/florida-gators/">Florida</a> — and potentially the biggest game of his career — Johnson had a simple message for his team.



“Be ourselves,” Johnson said told ESPN in a pregame interview broadcasted on television about an hour before first pitch. “We’ve done a great job of being who we need to be, where we need to be it, when we need to be it. It’s just getting reset and focusing on execution today.”



The game could have a different flair to it than other games of the Men’s College World Series so far. There are heavy wins blowing out of the field of play instead of back in towards it.



That type of wind could change what has been a typically pitcher-friendly ballpark to both teams so far into an offensive bonanza.



“Execute pitches,” Johnson said. “It’s going in a different direction than it has. We’ll get familiar with that in batting practice. But if we execute pitches, I have a lot of confidence we’ll collect the outs we need to.”
