WATCH: Big Cat, PFT Commenter featured in LSU hype video

LSU football on Thursday released a hype video ahead of its Saturday matchup with Central Michigan, and the Tigers brought in two special guests to narrate: Barstool Sports’ Big Cat and PFT Commenter.
Big Cat and PFT Commenter are the hosts of “Pardon My Take,” a sports podcast presented by Barstool Sports that currently ranks No. 2 in the sports category of Apple Podcasts. The duo has worked with LSU before; shortly after the Tigers capped off their perfect 15-0 season with a national championship victory over Clemson, head coach Ed Orgeron and quarterback Joe Burrow joined the podcast to discuss.
LSU defense riddled with injuries
The LSU Tigers will be without two of their most ferocious players this weekend, according to Ed Orgeron. Defensive end Ali Gaye will be out for Saturday’s game against Central Michigan, and safety Jay Ward is doubtful to play.
“Ali (Gaye) is a tremendous pass rusher. He is unavailable,” the LSU head coach said Wednesday on the SEC coaches teleconference. “He was unavailable last week, he’s going to be unavailable this week. But what I’ve seen from him is he’s continued to grow and I think he’s going to be an outstanding end for us.”
While Gaye is listed as out for Saturday, Ward’s status is still technically up in the air — though all indications point to him being unavailable for LSU.

“Hopefully we’ll have him by next week,” Orgeron said. “It’s day-by-day right now. He’s very doubtful for this week, probably (for) Mississippi State, but not sure yet.”
LSU has had a number of impactful injuries and availability issues intros season, and that extends to the Tigers rushing attack. Earlier this week, the Tigers lost running back John Emery for the season — not due to injury, but as a result of academic eligibility.
“John Emery is out the year,” Orgeron said of the LSU running back Monday. “He’s unavailable. I do believe Armoni Goodwin is questionable for this week. And that’s a shame because I think he’s an outstanding running back. ‘Tre Bradford, as far as I know, will be eligible for the game. We’ll have to see how the week goes, and hopefully we can play him this week.”
