Elite 4-star athlete Jamyri Cauley picks up Mississippi State offer

Mississippi State has extended an offer to Dallas South Oak Cliff four-star athlete Jamyri Cauley.

Cauley is the No. 49 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is the fourth-ranked athlete in the country after Belle Vernon (Pa.) four-star athlete Quinton Martin, Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe and Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor four-star athlete Elijah Washington.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $81k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

The Bulldogs have three commits in the 2023 recruiting class: Bay Springs (Miss.) four-star athlete Ty Jones, Laurel (Miss.) three-star offensive tackle Malik Ellis and Lexington (Miss.) Holmes County three-star EDGE Joseph Head. The group is currently ranked 44th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.

Mississippi State has zero commits in the 2024 cycle.
