Jordon Hudson makes first post with Bill Belichick since engagement rumors began

Amid all the litany of headlines involving Jordon Hudson and her beau Bill Belichick, perhaps the least surprising came last week with reports that the first-year North Carolina head coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend are actually engaged. Belichick further helped stoke those rumors when TMZ Sports obtained images of his boat, formerly named “VIII Rings” signifying his eight career Super Bowl rings, that has recently been renamed “I+VIII Rings.”
Hudson certainly isn’t openly denying the engagement rumors with her latest post on Instagram Reels. She posted a short video of her eating dinner Wednesday evening with Old Bay seasoning on the table and a caption that read: “Old Bay with my Old Bae” — a clear reference to the 73-year-old Belichick.
Bill Belichick engagement: Boat paint job fuels further Jordon Hudson speculation
Bill Belichick‘s boat got a new paint job, and it fueled more rumors about him and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson being engaged. It’s not been confirmed that the “One Plus” means the potential engagement/wedding ring for Hudson, but it comes at an interesting time to say the least.
In a story published by the New York Times, reporter Katherine Rosman said that Hudson, 24, has ”told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.” The report came as HBO reportedly pulled the plug on a North Carolina Hard Knocks season because of Hudson.
“This winter, producers at NFL Films decided that a new season of its sports docuseries, ‘Hard Knocks,’ would focus on Mr. Belichick’s efforts to build the UNC football program ahead of the 2025 season,” Rosman wrote, via The Athletic‘s Stewart Mandel. “HBO agreed to air it. But days before they were set to announce the series, Ms. Hudson demanded she be granted content approval and partial ownership of the show, according to a person familiar with the deal who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized by producers to speak to a reporter. NFL Films pulled the plug.”

UNC official on Bill Belichick, Jordon Hudson impact on football program: ‘We just don’t know what’s coming’
Last week, the Washington Post published a lengthy feature on Hudson. The story included a troubling quote from an anonymous UNC official who “was not authorized to discuss the coach’s personal relationship,” countering Belichick’s narrative.
“It’s just so odd. And we just don’t know what’s coming,” the anonymous North Carolina official told the Washington Post. “Those two decide what they’re going to do, and they do it.”
Belichick and Hudson’s relationship has been a ripe source for tabloid fodder ever since a disastrous interview with CBS Sunday Morning in which Hudson reportedly exerted undue influence. The interview, which was intended to promote Belichick’s upcoming memoir, “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,” went off the rails when Hudson allegedly stormed off the set, delaying shooting for 30 minutes, according to a report from TMZ. Over the subsequent weeks, multiple additional stories have emerged that shed light on Hudson’s growing influence on Belichick.
That has included Hudson allegedly forcing her way onto the set of Dunkin’ Donuts’ Super Bowl commercial that also starred Belichick and famous actors Ben and Casey Affleck. Former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre previously revealed in February that Hudson was acting like Belichick’s “de facto agent” prior to Super Bowl LIX.
