Northwestern offers top-75 ATH Dre'lon Miller

Silsbee (Texas) four-star athlete Dre’Lon Miller received an offer from Northwestern Monday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Miller is the No. 72 overall prospect and No. 4 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 13 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-2, 196-pound Miller holds 28 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Texas A&M as the favorite to land a commitment from Miller at 41.7%.
In January, Miller took visits to Duke, Florida and Texas A&M between a busy basketball. He also plans on taking visits to Florida, Clemson and USC.
“I’ve been keeping in touch with Texas A&M, LSU, USC, and Clemson the most,” Miller told On3. “They’ve been keeping in touch with me a lot, so that’s been a lot of fun. And this spring I’m gonna go visit Clemson, USC, and Florida.”

Miller also noted that while Texas A&M struggled in 2022, he sees a bright future for the Aggies and that’s something that’s stuck out to him.
“Last year they didn’t have the best season after landing the number one recruiting class. But this year will show a lot. It’s gonna mean a lot to me because I like them a lot,” he said.
Miller currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
