2025 Four-Star TE James Flanigan commits to Notre Dame

Four-star tight end James Flanigan of Green Bay (WI) Notre Dame De La Baie Academy announced his commitment to Notre Dame Saturday evening.
The 6-foot-5, 230 pounder chose the Fighting Irish over Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn State, and Stanford.
“Notre Dame is just special. I was already really high on Notre Dame and then at the USC game I just got the feeling that I had to be a part of it. On top of that, the staff is amazing, I have no doubt that Coach Freeman is capable of coaching a team to the national championship. I can’t wait to get to work.
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“The coaching staff is great. Coach Parker and I have been calling pretty much weekly for a long time now, and I have been on campus a lot so I have really gotten to know all the coaches. Coach Gidulgi was the coach to offer me at Wisconsin, and since he took the quarterbacks coaching job at Notre Dame it’s always been fun to see him there.”
