Four-Star TE Nate Roberts commits to Notre Dame

Four-star tight end Nate Roberts of Washington (OK) High announced his commitment to Notre Dame Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 230 pounder chose the Fighting Irish over Ohio State, Clemson, and Michigan.
Roberts on why he chose Notre Dame
“Throughout my commitment, me and Coach Parker (OC and TE coach) have built a great relationship,” Roberts said. “When I first walked into Notre Dame it felt like home. Their history of using the tight ends has been amazing, they have sent over a dozen tight ends to the league and I’m looking to be the next. Their culture is the best in the nation, I’ve never seen anything like Notre Dame anywhere else. The history at Notre Dame is amazing, there have been so many great players who go through Notre Dame. I’ll get both the best degree and the best football at Notre Dame. Me and Coach Freeman have also built a great relationship, ever since the first visit I saw I knew he was the coach I wanted to play for. He will build me into a better football player and a better person. I’m more than excited to play for the Irish.”
The Oklahoma tight end joins coach Marcus Freeman and the Fighting Irish’ 2025 class. He is accompanied by three-star defensive lineman Davion Dixon.
