4-star wideout Brandon Inniss sets Ohio State official visit

Miami Gardens (Fla.) American Heritage wide receiver Brandon Inniss locked in his first official visit of the summer a week ago, and today he set another.
Inniss announced on Twitter that he will trip to Ohio State on June 17-19, two weekends after he officially visits Alabama.
The 6-foot, 180-pounder is the No. 27 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 7 junior player in Florida.
A one-time Oklahoma commit to then-head coach Lincoln Riley, Inniss reopened his recruitment after Riley left for USC. The Trojans have been heavily recruiting him since, and are currently the leaders to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
Ohio State is looking to catch USC
But not far behind is Ohio State, which has prioritized him as one their top receiver targets in the 2023 class as well. Inniss returned to Columbus for a second unofficial visit during the first weekend in April, and he is very much feeling the love from the Buckeyes.

“It was important, I wanted to come up with an open mind,” Inniss told Lettermen Row. “I’m open to all options and Ohio State, coming up here, it felt like home.”
His current plan is for a December decision, but he knows things can change.
“Right now my mind is still on a decision in December,” Brandon Inniss said. “I want to take official visits in the summer and then get into my senior season. Things change though, when I get home and talking to my dad. But for right now it’s still December for me.”
And although other schools could get official visits, this appears to be a two-team race between USC and Ohio State.
“Sources close to the elite pass-catcher point to Ohio State and USC as the favorites for Inniss at this point,” On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman wrote earlier this month. “He’s set to see LSU and Miami has not taken its foot off the gas, but this has turned into a two-team race and both teams have some degree of confidence here.
Brandon Inniss Scouting Summary
On3 Director of Scouting Charles Power wrote the following on Brandon Inniss as a prospect:
Developed wide receiver who has been on the national radar dating back to middle school. Emerged as a college prospect while playing on varsity as an eighth grader. Has a technically advanced skill set. Has high-level quickness both in his releases and at the top of his routes. Can break off defensive backs with his change of direction. Competitive and embraces matchups with other top prospects. A standout on the camp and 7-on-7 circuit. Tests as a good athlete in the combine setting. Not as productive as some other top receivers as a junior in part due to being forced to play quarterback for part of the season. Has a tendency to let the ball get into his body at times, but has shown more high-point ability as a junior. Fights for yardage after the catch. Has the look of a high-floor prospect who should be set up to contribute early in his college career.
