Ohio State fans could have a bit of a conundrum on their hands during this season’s Heisman Trophy race after the Buckeyes unveiled dueling campaigns on Sunday morning for its two biggest stars. Ohio State dropped its #WeSayinHeisman campaign for redshirt freshman quarterback Julian Sayin, and a #JJ4Heisman campaign for sophomore wideout Jeremiah Smith just before noon ET on Sunday.

Check them out below:

The Buckeyes’ dual Heisman campaigns comes less than 24 hours after Sayin overtook Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza as the betting favorite to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy following an impressive showing in Saturday’s 38-14 win over Penn State. In the game, Sayin actually threw more touchdowns (four) than incompletions (three) to improve his nation’s-leading completion percentage to 80.7.

According to BetMGM, Sayin currently has the nation’s best odds at +175 to win the Heisman, ahead of Mendoza (+225) and Alabama‘s Ty Simpson (+350). Meanwhile, Smith is the top non-quarterback on the board with the eighth-best odds at +4000, per BetMGM. Smith led the Buckeyes with six receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns against Penn State.

Along with his FBS-best 80.7 completion percentage, Sayin also leads the nation with a 197.11 quarterback rating while ranking second in the Big Ten with 23 touchdowns to just three interceptions to go along with 2,188 passing yards. Smith, meanwhile, leads the Big Ten and is tied for 11th nationally with 55 receptions for 725 yards and nine touchdowns to rank second in the league.
