Junior offensive lineman Harry Miller is a key leader up front for Ohio State. He is in his third year at Ohio State and started seven games last season. Miller missed time earlier in the season, but he is now back with the team.

With the NIL era completely changing the landscape of college sports, players have more opportunities than they did in recent years. Instead of keeping his earnings from NIL deals, Miller is instead opting to donate all of his earnings, per Front Office Sports.

“Ohio State center Harry Miller has announced he will donate all of his NIL earnings to humanitarian efforts in Nicaragua,” Front Office Sports tweeted.

Miller has been recognized for his humanitarian efforts already at Ohio State

Miller was recently named to the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. He was chosen alongside 21 other members out of 109 total nominations. Allstate pledged $1 million to be spread among the 22 players to help them make positive impacts in their communities.

“The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team was established in 1992 by the College Football Association, recognizing the extra efforts made by college football players and student support staff off the field,” Ohio State said in a release when Miller was named to the Good Works Team. “AFCA became the governing body of the award in 1997 and continues to honor college football players who go the extra mile for those in need.”

Miller has been a part of mission trips to Nicaragua in every year since high school. He has made nearly a dozen trips and has brought teammates with him before. Miller is also a board member at Mission 4 Nicaragua, which is a nonprofit that operates a school and helps give out food and medicine to families in Los Brasiles. He has raised over $1,000 in his efforts for Mission 4 Nicaragua.
