2025 EDGE Corey Amos decommits from Ole Miss Rebels

Opelousas (La.) three-star EDGE Corey Amos has decommitted from Ole Miss. He had been a member of the Rebels’ class since February 3.
Amos took an official visit to Tulane this past weekend.
He is the nation’s No. 441 overall prospect, No. 40 EDGE and No. 13 recruit from Louisiana in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Amos joins West Jordan (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star wide receiver Jerome Myles, who also decommitted from the Rebels on Monday.
With Myles no longer in the mix, the Rebels currently have five blue-chippers in their 2025 class — which ranks No. 19 in the nation and No. 10 in the SEC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Quitman (Miss.) four-star running back Akylin Dear remains in the class as a top-40 recruit and the No. 2 RB in the nation. Despite taking OVs to Alabama and Texas A&M this month, Dear still checks in as the top pledge for Lane Kiffin and Co.
Myles was one of five prospects who committed to Ole Miss in April. While he’s back on the board, the other four continue to bolster the class, including Horn Lake (Miss.) Lake Cormorant four-star linebacker Jarcoby Hopson, a top-200 recruit and top-20 player at his position. Gautier (Miss.) Saraland four-star WR Dillon Alfred, Daphne (Ala.) three-star EDGE Talib Graham and Buford (Ga.) three-star tight end Hayden Bradley also joined the fold that month.
Other top commits in the class include Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove four-star defensive lineman Andrew Maddox and Auburndale (Fla.) Lakeland four-star safety Keon Young.
