Juice Kiffin takes shot at Brian Kelly, LSU offense following Ole Miss win

Not only is Lane Kiffin taking every shot he can at LSU after Ole Miss‘ big win, but now his dog Juice is getting in on the fun. The Rebels coach’s furry friend took to X following a 24-19 victory against the Tigers showing off some brand new merch.
Juice Kiffin tweeted a photo of a hat with the caption “Brian Kelly can’t run the damn ball.” Ole Miss held LSU to just 57 yards rushing and 2.6 yards per carry in the win.
Ole Miss improved to 5-0 (3-0 SEC) with the win against the No. 4 Tigers, who fell to 4-1 (1-1). Their defense was a big part of that, especially in helping to limit the run.
The Rebels also limited LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier to 197 yards passing and a touchdown with one interception. They recorded just one sack but also eight QB hurries as they were relentless in getting pressure on him all game long.
It was a statement win that showed the rest of the SEC the type of team Ole Miss is and puts them in good position as a contender in the conference title race. That’s left plenty of time for not only Lane Kiffin, but Juice to rub it in as they’re sure to celebrate the rest of the night.

Lane Kiffin on avoiding $500k field-storming fine vs. LSU: ‘It buys you half of one of their DBs’
Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin is never short on supply of jokes, and he had plenty after a 24-19 win against No. 4 LSU on Saturday. After expressing his delight that Rebels fans did not storm the field after the big win, the coach was asked how valuable the money saved from that will be in the NIL era.
Ole Miss avoids a $500,000 fine from the SEC as a result of its fans choosing not to rush the field. Kiffin joked that would be about the price to lure in a player from LSU through the portal.
“It gets you half of one of their DBs, since you’re asking,” he said. “…I just think it’s where we’re at. We lost down there and LSU stormed the field last year against Ole Miss. It doesn’t seem like that’s supposed to happen. Then when we beat them here we don’t storm the field. So good spot to be in.”
The comments from Kiffin are even more interesting considering the Rebels did have a former LSU defensive back, Sage Ryan, transfer to the team this offseason. Ryan finished the victory Saturday with three tackles and one pass defended against his former team.
