Corey Adams was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2025. There, he was the 609th-ranked recruit overall in that class, the 57th-ranked edge rusher, and the 21st-ranked player in the state of Louisiana. That came after he had played his high school football at Edna Karr in New Orleans. There, he was a two-time first-team all-state honoree, a two-time first-team all-district selection, and recorded 51 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, 12 sacks, one pick six, and six batted passes in his junior year.
On the field at Ole Miss, Corey Adams was expected to be given time to develop. He would likely have provided depth for the defensive line, while preparing for the future when he could make a larger impact on the team.
At 18 years old, Corey Adams was the son of Corey Adams, who he was named after, and Chantrel Bernhart. He had planned on majoring in freshman studies at Ole Miss in 2025.
