Tennessee offensive tackle Gerald Mincey will take an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend, according to a report from OMSpirit.

Mincey is transferring after two years at Tennessee, where he played quite a good deal for the Volunteers. He played in 12 games for Tennessee in 2023, seeing 457 total snaps. Prior to his time with the Vols, Mincey spent two years at Florida.

He has seen plenty of action and has considerable upside, which has made him a coveted prospect out of the portal.

Mincey told OMSpirit he’s hearing from Ole Miss as well as Texas A&M, Kentucky, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Missouri, Florida, Cal, Oregon State, Maryland, North Carolina, Baylor and Arizona State.

The lanky offensive tackle played high school football at Cardinal Gibbons (FL) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 689 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.

He was the No. 67 OT in his class and No. 94 player in the state of Florida. He was recruited by Miami, Florida State and Georgia, among others out of the preps ranks.
