Oregon guard Ra'Heim Moss enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Oregon guard Ra’Heim Moss has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Jamie Shaw. Moss transferred to Oregon last offseason after spending four years at Toledo.
In his lone campaign with the Ducks, Moss made 30 appearances and two starts. He averaged 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game. He shot 31.8% from the field and 12.5% from beyond the arc.
Moss never scored double figures in a single game for the Ducks. It was a significant step back for Moss, who was coming off a career year at Toledo. In the 2023-24 campaign, Moss averaged 15.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
For his efforts, he was named an All-MAC First-Team selection and was a member of the All-MAC Defensive Team. Now, Moss will look to find a new environment where he can return to his former heights.
Ra’Heim Moss played high school basketball at Springfield (OH), where he was an unranked prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Moss averaged 17.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.7 assists per game during his senior season at Springfield.
He is the fourth Oregon player who has entered the transfer portal this offseason. In comparison, the Ducks have reeled in three players via the transfer portal, including standout TK Simpkins.

Oregon posted a 25-10 overall record and a 12-8 mark in conference play this past season. The Ducks reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season but failed to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. After Oregon’s season-ending loss to Arizona, Ducks head coach Dana Altman revealed his perspective on the transfer portal.
“I want our guys to be happy. I hope they can be happy at the University of Oregon,” Altman said. “You can’t be your best in any relationship unless you’re happy, you want to be in that relationship. I hope and pray that the guys want to stay, because I, like I said, I want ’em to stay. Everybody that can come back, I want ’em to come back. But they got to be wanting.
“There’s a business aspect to it, and I understand that. But, man, if you’re not having fun playing ball, if you’re not having fun with your teammates, if you don’t enjoy the four years you get to play, I’m not sure you can put a price on that. So to answer your question, I hope the guys want to stay, we’ll have conversations with ’em.”
