Oregon WR Justius Lowe plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Lowe will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Lowe logged reception in four games for the Ducks in 2025, finishing the year with six receptions for 56 yards. This came after a 2024 campaign that saw him haul in 21 catches for 203 yards and a touchdown, including two receptions for 27 yards in the Rose Bowl vs. Ohio State.

He ultimately spent three seasons in Eugene, redshirting in 2023 after not appearing in any games. Lowe went on to log five starts in 2024 while appearing in 11 of their 14 games that season. He played 398 total offensive snaps during the 2024 season.

Before college, Lowe was a four-star recruit per the Rivals Industry Rankings, which is
a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 348 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class, the No. 56 wide receiver and the No. 2-rated player from the state of Oregon.

While Lowe sets his sights for the NCAA transfer portal, his soon-to-be former team is set to take on James Madison in the first round of the College Football this weekend. It’s the first-ever home playoff game for the Ducks after receiving a first-round bye in 2024 as the No. 1 overall seed in last year’s 12-team expansion. The opening kickoff is set for Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET and will air live from TNT, truTV and HBO Max.

Once the NCAA transfer portal opens on Jan. 2, players can officially enter their names in the NCAA transfer portal and go on to initiate contact with their preferred schools. The portal will be open for 15 days and close on Jan. 16.

Notably, players who are on teams competing in the national championship game are allowed five extra days to make their portal decision. The College Football Playoff championship game will be played on Jan. 19, so the players on those teams will be allowed until Jan. 24 to enter the portal and choose their next school.
