Drew Allar injury: Penn State quarterback leaves early to locker room vs. Wisconsin
Penn State quarterback Drew Allar left about a minute early to the locker room before halftime against Wisconsin on Saturday due to an apparent injury. Allar came up limping after the final play of the half for the Nittany Lions offense and was later seen gingerly making his way off the field.
It’s unclear at this point whether the injury how serious the injury is and whether Allar will be forced to miss any time as a result. Penn State currently trails the Badgers by a score of 10-7 heading as it will hope for the best on his status ahead of the second half.
Allar was a solid 14-of-18 passing for 148 yards and a touchdown in the first half. He connected with running back Nick Singleton, who made a one-handed grab for the Nittany Lions’ only score of the game thus far.
On the season, Allar had 1,492 yards and 11 touchdowns to four interceptions entering Saturday night’s contest.

However, he was ultimately unable and backup Beau Pribula led the offense out to begin the third quarter.
Pribula has made appearances in five games so far this season to go 7-of-10 passing for 102 yards and two touchdowns to one interception. He also has rushed for another 105 yards and a score.
Now the Nittany Lions will look to put their trust in the redshirt sophomore to lead them back in what is still a very close game to begin the second half. Penn State is a perfect 6-0 on the year and needs to continue to pile up the wins to keep itself in the running for its first Big Ten title since 2016.
So far Pribula has filled in well as Penn State holds a 21-13 lead midway through the fourth quarter.
