USC transfer WR Kyron Hudson commits to Penn State

WR Kyron Hudson has committed to Penn State out of the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Hudson made the announcement with a post on social media on Monday. With this choice, he will now spend his final college season with the Nittany Lions in Happy Valley.
Hudson had spent the past four years as a redshirt junior at USC while appearing in 39 games for the Trojans over the last three, including double-digit starts after this past season, under Lincoln Riley.
Hudson improved his statistics in each of his trio of years at Southern Cal. In total, he posted 57 receptions for 655 yards and five touchdowns.
That included this last fall with 38 catches for 462 yards and three scores for Hudson. That had him fourth in receptions, third in yardage, and tied for second in scores for their offense.

Per the latest update to On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players, Hudson is a Top-40 WR and the No. 245 overall transfer.
Now, with his commitment tonight, Penn State has their first addition of this portal cycle. That’s after they’ve lost four players to this point ahead of their playoff appearance, including a wide receiver in Feyisayo Oluleye, a tight end in Jerry Cross, and then a quarterback in Beau Pribula.
