Kentucky transfer TE Jordan Dingle signs with South Carolina

Former Kentucky tight end Jordan Dingle will stay in the SEC, as he has signed with South Carolina out of the transfer portal. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Dingle was a three-star recruit in the 2021 signing class. He played in 39 career games for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats struggled in the passing game during the regular season, and a crowded tight ends room caused Dingle to have his least productive year since his freshman season. He finished the year with nine catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.
He was responsible for 490 receiving yards during the 2022-23 seasons, finding the end zone three times when Will Levis was quarterback in 2022. Those were his only touchdowns in Lexington until his lone score in the season opener this season against Southern Miss.
The Bowling Green native logged statistics in five games for the Wildcats this past season, never eclipsing more than 30 receiving yards in a single game. Last offseason, Dingle announced he was opting to enter the NCAA transfer portal but later withdrew his name and returned for another season.

South Carolina added a recent OL commit from the portal
Wake Forest offensive lineman transfer Nick Sharpe has signed with South Carolina, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. He spent four years with the Demon Deacons before entering the transfer portal.
Sharpe appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt junior in 2024. He played on both the offensive line and on special teams, totaling 718 snaps between the two sides of the ball. As he heads to South Carolina, he will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Sharpe played high school football at Gastonia (N.C.) Hunter Huss, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,408 overall player from the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
