Son of NBA star Carmelo Anthony offered by Syracuse
Middle Village (N.Y.) Christ The King Regional shooting guard Kiyan Anthony received an offer from Syracuse on Sunday afternoon. His father, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, helped lead the Orange to a national championship in the 2002-03 season.
Anthony is not ranked in the 2025 On3 Consensus or 2025 On3 Ranking. He is 6-foot-3 and weighs 165 pounds.
The sophomore currently holds two other offers. They are from George Mason and Manhattan.

After helping lead Syracuse to a national title, Carmelo won the NCAA Tournamentโs Most Outstanding Player award. One of his top performances came in the Final Four against Texas, when he set the tournament record for most points scored by a freshman with 33.
Carmelo declared for the NBA Draft after one season with the Orange and was selected third by the Denver Nuggets. He is currently a free agent who has played for six NBA teams and made 10 NBA All-Star teams.
