Texas A&M softball upset by Liberty, heads to elimination game

The NCAA Softball Tournament saw its biggest upset yet Saturday, leaving top-seeded Texas A&M one loss away from elimination. The Aggies fell 8-5 against Liberty in the second game of Regional play of the NCAA Softball Tournament and will now have to win three straight to stay alive.
Liberty was propelled by a five-run sixth inning to go ahead for the first time after previously trailing 5-3. The go ahead shot was a two-RBI single from Alyssa Henault, followed up by a two-run homer from KK Madrey to increase the lead to three runs.
A&M got off to a hot start with four runs in the second inning to take an early lead. However, Liberty refused to back down and answered right back with three runs of its own in the top of the third.
