Texas A&M's Solomon Washington suffers apparent rib injury after a hard fall vs. Colorado

Solomon Washington, an important freshman on the Texas A&M men’s basketball team, left the court with an apparent rib injury.
On a drive to the rim against Colorado in the Myrtle Beach Invitational, Solomon Washington went up for a layup. There was contact on the shot and he took a hard fall to the ground, landing on his side. He stayed down and the commentators noted that he appeared to injure his ribs. Washington immediately went to the Aggies’ locker room.

Solomon Washington was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2022, who is already playing a key role for Texas A&M.
When he left the game, Washington was the leading scorer for Texas A&M, with 12 points. He also led the team with five rebounds when he left the game.
