Where 2024 Texas A&M Targets Land in the Initial On300

On3 has debuted the On300 rankings for the 2024 class. After initially releasing a Top 100 watchlist a few months ago, with the 2021 season well in the rearview and camps and 7-on-7 tournaments in full swing, the rankings have been expanded and updated with the top 300 prospects in the country in the 2024 cycle.
Here’s a look at where notable Texas A&M targets and in-state names to know land in the On300
No. 2 – Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy CB Desmond Ricks
Texas A&M has offered, but faces some brutal national competition for the No. 2 player in the country.
No. 4 – Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville ATH Jaylen Mbakwe
No. 6 – Lake Belton (Tex.) High WR Micah Hudson
Hudson debuts as the top wide receiver in the country and already holds an offer from Texas A&M. Texas and Ohio State are among two others to know in this recruitment.
No. 9 – Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy CB Ellis Robinson IV
No. 12 – Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy EDGE Jonathan Echols
No. 15 – East Feliciana (La.) High TE Trey’Dez Green
No. 20 – Saint Louis (Mo.) St. Louis University WR Ryan Wingo
No. 25 – Waco (Tex.) Conally CB Kobe Black
The Aggies have yet to offer Black, but he visited alongside 2023 running back target Tre Wisner last summer. I’d expect Texas A&M to get in the mix sooner rather than later.
No. 27 – Long Beach (Cali.) Millikan WR Ryan Pellum
No. 33 – Willis (Tex.) High QB DJ Lagway
Perhaps the Aggies’ top quarterback target in the cycle, Lagway debuts at No. 33 in the rankings. He’s been to College Station numerous times in recent months.
No. 36 – Philadelphia (Penn.) Roman Catholic WR Tyseer Denmark
Denmark visited Texas A&M just last weekend while in the state for a 7-on-7 tournament and already holds an offer from the Aggies.
No. 38 – Daingerfield (Tex.) High ATH Aeryn Hampton
The four-star Texas commit has yet to land an offer from the Aggies, but visited last weekend as well and is set to visit at least once more this offseason. Expect an offer to go out sooner rather than later.

No. 42 – Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County TE Landen Thomas
No. 47 – Seattle (Wash.) O’Dea RB Jason Brown

Woodyard recently visited alongside some fellow St. John Bosco teammates earlier this year. The Aggies have offered, but it will be tough to pull the four-star out of the West Coast.
No. 60 – Dallas (Tex.) South Oak Cliff ATH Jamyri Cauley
Cauley is one of the more intriguing in-state targets in the 2024 cycle, with potential as a wide receiver or edge rusher. The sophomore should make his way down to College Station at least once this offseason.

Texas A&M has yet to offer Kelly, but the four-star recently visited College Station and an offer could be in the cards in the near future. Baylor is an early school to watch.

Texas A&M very recently offered the four-star running back who had a breakout sophomore year.
No. 101 – Frisco (Tex.) Reedy OL Max Anderson
No. 104 – Allen (Tex.) High EDGE Zina Umeozulu
Oklahoma and Texas A&M have established themselves early in Umeozulu’s recruitment, while Texas and other national contenders lurk as well. Look for the Aggies to get Umeozulu back on campus at least once more this offseason.
No. 117 – Alvin (Tex.) Shadow Creek S Maurice Williams
Williams has been to Texas A&M a ton in the last year, but the Aggies have yet to offer. Expect that to change this offseason, and if/when they enter the mix, Texas A&M will be hard to beat in this recruitment.
