Quinn Ewers happy with his College Football 25 rating, believes his strength could be improved

The debut of EA Sports College Football 25 is officially on Friday, though thousands of gamers have already accessed the game by purchasing a deluxe edition of it. For quarterback Quinn Ewers, the exposure to the game began quite a while ago.
He’s one of three cover athletes for the game.
“It was a very cool moment for me,” Quinn Ewers said on College Football Live on ESPNU. “Growing up, playing the game and continuing to play the game even when no more games were being released, it’s really just a blessing to be able to say I’m on the cover.”
That honor was shared with Colorado‘s Travis Hunter and Michigan‘s Donovan Edwards, with the three getting together and featuring on multiple poses in the game.
The final cover was decided on and has been shipped, so Ewers will be in the hands of gamers everywhere shortly.
A savvy operator, Quinn Ewers noted how big a deal it is to be on the cover. Not just for him personally, either. It’s got far-reaching implications, potentially aiding in recruiting.

“It’s not just good for me, it’s good for the whole university and it’s good for all of our players,” Ewers said. “Just having the name ‘Texas’ on the cover is awesome for everybody and the whole university is excited. It’s cool to see all that excitement for sure.”
Quinn Ewers checked in with a 92 overall rating, one of the top players in the game (No. 27 overall, to be exact). He features an 81 grade for speed, 83 for acceleration, 56 for strength, 97 for awareness, 76 for jumping and a 68 for breaking sacks.
The College Football Playoff hopeful thought that was a pretty fair evaluation overall, though he saw one spot he’d amend.
“It looks pretty good to me. The strength could be up a little bit, I’ve been working on it a little bit,” Quinn Ewers said. “But I’m happy with where the speed’s at and it’s super cool to be able to see the teams in the game and, you know, I’m in the game. It’s been fun to play with. I’ve been playing the past couple days and it’s been really fun to get to play.”
