Sam Ehlinger comments on his first NFL completion
Former Texas Longhorn Sam Ehlinger pulled of a rare feat by just making it to the NFL. In Sunday’s game against the Panthers, he pulled off an even rarer accomplishment — completing his first NFL pass to his former high school teammate from Westlake (Austin, Texas), Kylen Granson.
The former Longhorn great was fired up about the completion to his former Westlake teammate.
“I loved it. I loved it. That’s so cool, ” Ehlinger said. “I mean, what are the odds?! I bet that’s never happened before. Same high school. Same draft class. First completion. Might have made history!”
