Texas football player to be charged for revenge porn
Texas Longhorns freshman Ishmael Ibraheem is facing a revenge porn charge, according to Oklahoma State University police. The police accused the young cornerback of distributing a video recording of himself and an Oklahoma State student to a Cowboys’ football player with malicious intent.
In 2016, former Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallon signed a bill that created a new section of law to criminalize revenge porn in the state. The law went into effect that November.
The bill states a person can be charged with nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images if they “disseminate the image with the intent to harass, intimidate or coerce the person, or under circumstances in which a reasonable person would know or understand that dissemination of the image would harass, intimidate or coerce the person.”
OSU officer Leslie Grotheer was contacted by the victim who said she received a screenshot of an Instagram direct message from Ibraheem to another person, according to the Stillwater News Press. The message portrayed a video of the victim and Ibraheem in a sexual act from TikTok. The video screenshot included the Longhorn’s social media tag.
The recipient of the video produced it for the Oklahoma State University police and confirmed the sender to be the Texas player.

Ishmael Ibraheem, a 2021 signee from Dallas, Texas, has a warrant out for his arrest with a $2,500 bond amount set.
Former Texas LB finds new home
Terrence Cooks II has found his new home for next season. After entering the transfer portal in November, Cooks has decided to take his talents up I-35 N and play for the TCU Horned Frogs in 2022.
The freshman linebacker elected to jump ship less than a year into the season. Cooks was one of the top recruits of former Longhorns head coach Tom Herman’s 2021 recruiting class. Cooks failed to gain ample playing time this season for the Longhorns. He appeared in just one game for Texas against Rice. In that game, he did not register a single stat.
The 6-foot-2 freshman from Pearland, Texas, played at Shadow Creek High School, where he was a two-time all-district performer. He also helped lead them to an undefeated season in 2019; which culminated in a state championship.
