Hoover (Ala.) Spain Park four-star EDGE Jared Smith received an offer from Texas Tuesday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Smith is the No. 5 overall prospect and No. 2 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Alabama.

The 6-foot-5.5, 225-pound Smith holds 10 Power Five offers.
