UCLA has struggled a bit since the start of February, picking up three losses. But the Bruins still have six games remaining in the regular season. With just six games left and a lot at stake, KenPom has predicted how the next five games on UCLA’s schedule will turn out.

KenPom predictions for next five UCLA games

Saturday, Feb. 19 vs. Washington: UCLA 78 – Washington 61 (95% win probability)

Monday, Feb. 21 vs. Arizona State: UCLA 74 – Arizona State 57 (93% win probability)

Thursday, Feb. 24 at Oregon: UCLA 73 – Oregon 67 (72% win probability)

Saturday, Feb. 26 at Oregon State: UCLA 79 – Oregon State 62 (94% win probability)

Monday, Feb. 28 at Washington: UCLA 75 – Washington 64 (84% win probability)

KenPom also predicts that UCLA will defeat USC at home on March 5 to wrap up the regular season.

UCLA is currently third in Pac-12 standings

With six games remaining, UCLA is currently in third place in the Pac-12, trailing Arizona and USC. Arizona is 23-2 overall and 13-1 in Pac-12 games, while USC is 22-4 overall and 11-4 in the Pac-12. UCLA is 18-5 overall and 10-4 in Pac-12 games. Oregon is also right there with UCLA, as the Ducks are 17-9 overall and 10-5 against Pac-12 opponents.

UCLA looked strong to begin the year, starting 8-1 with their only loss coming to top ranked Gonzaga. Then, the Bruins had multiple games postponed or canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. UCLA defeated Marquette on December 11, but did not play another game until January 6.

The Bruins beat Long Beach State and California once they resumed play, but lost to Oregon in overtime to fall to 10-2 overall and 2-1 in Pac-12 games. UCLA responded to that loss with six consecutive victories, including a huge blowout victory against Arizona. Arizona then got revenge on UCLA with a win, and the Bruins lost to Arizona State in triple overtime in their next game. Over UCLA’s previous five games, the Bruins have lost three with two wins coming against Stanford and Washington State.

While UCLA is obviously still fighting for its spot within the Pac-12 standings, the Bruins are also fighting for a lot more. UCLA will be in the NCAA Tournament in March, but the question is where will they be seeded. Despite being a projected one seed earlier in the season, UCLA comes in as a four seed in On3’s latest NCAA Tournament projection. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has the Bruins as a three seed in his latest Bracketology.
