Brent Pry pleads with Virginia Tech fans to attend Fan Day

Fall camp is well underway at Virginia Tech. With just weeks before the Hokies’ season opener, Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry urged all fans in the area to show out for Fan Day on Aug. 15.
The event provides fans an opportunity to meet all of their favorite players and watch the practice in Blacksburg. It will also allows a first-look at the newcomers on Virginia Tech’s roster in 2025.
“We’ve got Fan Day next Friday, (Aug. 15). I encourage our fans to come out, it’s open to the public, to meet some of these new faces,” Pry said at Virginia Tech Media Day on Wednesday. “We’ve got a lot of news guys that will be in our two deep and that will making plays in Lane Stadium and watching us on TV or watching us here at home.
“(Come and) get to know these guys. They’re an outstanding group of young men and we’re excited to host everybody next Friday and continue to build relationships with the best fanbase in America.”
Virginia Tech will host seven home games inside Lane Stadium in 2025. That means seven opportunities for fans to come out and enjoy one of the most exciting pregame entrances in college football with Metallica’s Enter Sandman playing the Hokies down to the field.
