Washington has a huge matchup against Oregon coming up this weekend. The Huskies should have two of their top playmakers available for the game.

Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb told reporters on Monday that receivers Jalen McMillan and Rome Odunze will be ready to go for the Oregon game, according to Mike Vorel.

Odunze was banged up late in a win over Arizona on Sept. 30. McMillan has missed the past two games against Cal and Arizona.

Jalen McMillan and Rome Odunze are two of the top receivers in the country when healthy. They have been excellent playmakers for an explosive Washington offense that is led by quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Penix currently leads the nation in passing, averaging 399.8 yards per game. That is 62 yards more than any other player in the country.

Despite missing a pair of games, McMillan has 20 receptions for 311 yards and three scores. He is averaging more than 100 yards per game.

Odunze is also at more than 100 yards per game as he has 32 catches for 608 yards and four touchdowns.

Ja’Lynn Polk is right up there with those two as he has 26 catches for 468 yards and four touchdowns for the Huskies.

The explosive Washington offense will get a tough test on Saturday as Oregon is 5-0 entering the matchup. The Ducks have allowed more than 10 points only once all season.

Oregon and Washington will each have a chance to boost their College Football Playoff resume as they meet in a highly anticipated Week 7 matchup. The Ducks and Huskies both enter undefeated and ranked among the top 10 teams in the country, and this game will be the site for ESPN’s College GameDay.

Vegas expects things to come down to the wire, as Washington enters as a 3-point home favorite according to FanDuel. However, things could truly go either way and it appears the homefield advantage is what’s giving the Huskies a slight nod in this spot.

Both Oregon and Washington had a bye in Week 6, which should allow each team to come into the matchup fresh. The Ducks have been dominant early in Pac-12 play, outscoring both of their conference opponents thus far by a combined 84-12.

Oregon has given up just one touchdown across its first two conference games and is coming off of a 42-6 victory against Stanford in Week 5. Quarterback Bo Nix was extremely efficient in that win, going 27-of-32 passing for 290 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.
