Aaron Scott's fluidity, ball skills and athleticism remind us a bit of Greg Newsome. Scott is a bit heavier than Newsome at the same stage.

Aaron Scott Jr.

Scouted byCody Bellaire
CB2024 · Football

Coordinated corner with some of the best film and ball skills at the position in 2024. Measured in at a shade over 6-feet and around 180 pounds prior to his senior season. Has good length for the position. Tacked on solid weight over the course of his junior year. Tests as a good athlete in the combine setting. Showed good speed in his junior track season, running a personal best of 11.05 seconds in the 100 meters. A standout corner on Friday nights who gives up very little through the air. Does a phenomenal job of playing through receivers' hands.…

Personal Life

Aaron Scott prides himself on being a lockdown cover corner, and he “loves it” when opponents attempt to throw his way. They rarely did in 2022, but he still managed to pick off the ball five times and return those interceptions for 104 yards and two scores. He also had seven pass breakups and recovered a fumble as a junior. Scott would go on to earn all-area, all-region and all-state honors in 2022 and play a key role in helping Springfield (Ohio) High School play for a state title. “It’s a blessing to be where I am today,” Scott told Rivals.com. “My dad (Aaron Scott Sr.) and my teammates are always telling me to enjoy the experience, so that’s what my focus has been on. Enjoying it. Getting better. Being a great leader and making an impact.” Away from football, Scott reports a 4.0 GPA.
