Andrew Marsh was named Texas District 19-6A newcomer of the year as a sophomore after catching 53 passes for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns. During his junior season, Marsh helped Katy Jordan land a playoff spot for the first time in school history with a historic game of his own. Against Morton Ranch, Marsh caught eight passes for 240 yards and five touchdowns, including scoring plays of 45, 49 and 70 yards. “Andrew is just everything, I can’t put into words everything he can do,” Jordan quarterback Colin Willets told the Katy Times after the performance. “We have four guys that are great, but Andrew just did it all himself today. It proves that he is one of the best in the nation, and I’m just glad to have him on my team.” Marsh also excels in track, running the 400 and participating in the high jump.
