As a College Recruit

Two-way standout as a receiver and cornerback. Measured at around 6-foot-1, 170 pounds prior to his senior season. Hip fluidity and ball skills stand out. Shows the ability to consistently and naturally catch the football away from his frame. Can flip his hips with ease in man coverage. Breaks on the ball quickly in zone coverage. Flashes a high quality short area quickness and excellent trigger to the football. A willing tackler with solid physicality and ability to play in the box. High level ball production as a junior, picking off five passes. Also makes plays at receiver, showing off his ball skills and change of direction. Lacks verified top end speed. Needs to improve his tacking and physicality as a run defender, tending to shy away from contact.

Lester had an argument to make starting seven on offense or defense, but the elite 2024 athlete from Sarasota (Fla.) Riverview was certainly in the conversation as one of the best defensive backs in attendance in a loaded field. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Lester glides up and down the field in coverage with ease and is able to consistently stick with receivers. For 24K, Lester saw action playing receiver, where the speed, athleticism and natural playmaking abilities were readily on display.
