Ja'Keem Jackson ranked as an On3 Consensus four-star recruit coming out of Kissimmee (Florida) Osceola in the Class of 2023. The Under Armour All-American signed with Florida, picking the Gators over Miami, Tennessee, Kentucky, Penn State, Auburn, Alabama and a list of other national offers. “Ja'Keem Jackson, I think, is probably one of the more talented players in the class, just relative to he's got a high ceiling,” Gators coach Billy Napier said on National Signing Day. “One of the best players in the state, in my opinion. And really a guy this time last year, you know, not a lot of people talking about the guy.” Jackson has been timed as fast as 10.9 seconds in the 100-meter dash. Playing both ways as a senior, he had 50 tackles, six pass breakups, three tackles for a loss and a fumble recovery. He also racked up 16 receptions for 299 yards and three touchdowns in 2022. Jackson's brother, Markevus, is a track athlete at Kentucky who posted a personal-record 10.79-second 100-meter dash in high school.
