Personal Life
Jalen Brown tags a lot of his social media posts with #iamspeed, and it’s a fitting tag for one of the fastest receivers in the country. Brown was a regional champion in track, and he was timed at 10.86 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 21.83 seconds in the 200 meters at the 2021 FHSAA state track and field series. But Brown prides himself on being more than fast. “I work hard every day on my craft to improve my routes and my footwork and trying to become more versatile. I am a complete receiver.” The hard work has paid off. Brown was named a second-team MaxPreps Junior All-American in 2021 after racking up more than 1,000 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns.

Reminds Us Of
Jalen Brown reminds us of Will Fuller due to his similar size, build and skill set at the same stage. Like Fuller, Brown is a thinner receiver with the ability to take the top off defenses with his top end speed. Both have similar movement patterns and ability after the catch as well. Brown has more verified track times than Fuller as a high school prospect.
