On Saturday, Arkansas (2-5, 0-3) will host Auburn (3-4, 0-4) inside Razorback Stadium. Both teams are still searching for their first SEC win.

History is on the Tigers’ side in the showdown. Auburn boasts a 20-13-1 all-time record against the Razorbacks. However, when the two teams met last season, Arkansas ran away with a 24-14 victory.

Auburn will look to strike revenge this weekend. Unfortunately, neither team is expected to be at full-strength for the matchup. Look below to see each team’s latest availability report.

Arkansas Razorbacks:

Out:
DL Cameron Ball
DB Quentavius Scandrett
WR Monte Harrison
WR Ismael Cisse
WR Jalen Brown
RB AJ Green
TE Jeremiah Beck Jr.
TE Andreas Paaske
DL David Oke

Auburn Tigers:

Out:
WR Horatio Fields
RB Durell Robinson
OL Connor Lew

Probable:
CB Donovan Starr
TE Brandon Frazier

Questionable:
WR Sam Turner

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze will need his players to heal up quickly. Some analysts believe Freeze could be coaching for his job on Saturday. The third-year HC is on the hot seat due to Auburn’s lackluster start to the season.

Despite Auburn’s underwhelming record, the team has shown flashes of promise this season. Most recently, Auburn took Missouri to double overtime before falling 23-17.

In the loss, Auburn’s offense outpaced Missouri. On the other side of the ball, Auburn’s defense forced two turnovers, both of which were interceptions. If Auburn can put similar pressure on Arkansas, it may leave Fayetteville with its first since Sept. 13.

Alas, Arkansas won’t make it easy for the Tigers. The Razorbacks have looked sharp under interim head coach Bobby Petrino. In its last two games against Tennessee and Texas A&M, Arkansas has lost by a combined six points.

The Razorbacks’ offense has especially been red-hot. Arkansas averaged 511.5 yards of offense per game in its last two contests. Auburn knows if it wants to slow the Razorbacks’ offense down, it must contain QB Taylen Green.

“We just got to keep that quarterback caged in, don’t let him get out of that pocket,” Auburn defensive end Amaris Williams said. “Attack certain angles with him or at him so he can’t release how he wants to. Just make him uncomfortable to a point where he gotta to do stuff he ain’t ever did before.

“This Auburn defense — a lot of people ain’t really used to playing a defense like us, so like, the pressure and all the different types of things coming at him, he ain’t gonna be used to. I feel like we’re gonna bring something at him that’s never been brought to him before.”

Auburn and Arkansas will clash at 11:45 a.m. CT on Saturday. The game will air live on the SEC Network.
