Tackett Curtis is coached in high school by his uncle, Jess Curtis, and the two have a special bond that goes from the football field to the recruiting trail. “To play for my uncle is something I’ve always dreamed of,” said Tackett Curtis told KALB-TV. “All the offers and scholarships that I have been blessed with have made for an awesome experience. We got to go this summer and see all the different schools and really make some good memories with each other.” Along with success on the gridiron, Curtis also has a 4.0-grade point average and is ranked first in his high school class. He plans on majoring in computer science in college. His family also has a unique connection with LSU. One of his brothers was actually Mike The Tiger when he was a student in Baton Rouge. His parents are Leslie and Moses Curtis. His siblings are Gunner, Carson and Lola.
