We’re six weeks into the season and things are changing rapidly. Here are On3’s Big Ten women’s basketball power rankings.

1. UCLA

It was an off week for UCLA and they remain the best team in the Big Ten.

2. Maryland

Maryland just had one win against Delaware State, but the culmination of their undefeated non-conference play keeps them at No. 2.

3. Michigan

Michigan took down Akron at home and remains No. 3 in the league.

4. Iowa

Iowa suffered a rivalry loss at Iowa State, but they’ll stay in the same spot for giving them a fight and keeping it within single-digits to a Top-10 squad.

5. USC

USC lost to UConn at home and it wasn’t close, but no one expected the Trojans to win this game.

6. Washington

Washington squeaked past Green Bay, and I’d like to see them against another ranked opponent, but they’ll stay at No. 6 for now.

7. Ohio State

Ohio State took down Northern Kentucky and Toledo this week.

8. Nebraska

Nebraska remains undefeated and added wins over Omaha and Illinois State.

9. Oregon

Oregon has just one loss to UCLA and added a solid mid-major win over Montana State.

10. Illinois

Illinois is another one-loss team and the Illini took down a solid mid-major in North Texas this weekend.

11. Michigan State

Michigan State’s loss to Wisconsin hurt them, but they took down DePaul with ease this weekend.

12. Minnesota

Minnesota took down Alabama A&M and Wyoming this week.

13. Wisconsin

Wisconsin gained some real momentum with the Michigan State win and added another victory over San Diego. I’ll be curious to see how they fare throughout Big Ten play.

14. Indiana

Indiana took down UL Monroe and survived a scare from Eastern Michigan this week.

15. Penn State

Penn State suffered losses to both Arizona State and South Carolina this week. While the latter was more than expected, the former wasn’t a good display for the Nittany Lions.

16. Northwestern

Northwestern lost to Utah on the road this week.

17. Purdue

Purdue actually had a pretty solid week, despite where they’re ranked. They took down Lipscomb and Dayton.

18. Rutgers

Rutgers lost to a ranked Princeton team this week and you can’t blame them for that one. I’m intrigued by this group’s potential and a few of the transfer additions have looked solid for the Scarlet Knights.
