Women's basketball takeaways: 12/14 edition
It was a loaded Sunday of women’s hoops. Here are my takeaways and top performers.
1. Texas adds another ranked win to their resume
Texas added another ranked win to their resume after taking down No. 13 Baylor by 35 points. Unfortunately, Baylor’s Taliah Scott suffered an injury in the first half, but the Longhorns were en route to a blowout win regardless.
Madison Booker and Rori Harmon combined for 39 points, 14 rebounds, 15 assists and six steals. The Longhorns now have four wins over currently-ranked squads.

2. Louisville earns a big road win in OT
Louisville faced off against its biggest ACC competition in North Carolina on the road. They led for much of the game, but the Tar Heels came back and led within the final minute. The Cardinals forced overtime and were able to pull off the significant resume victory.
It was certainly a game of runs and Louisville heads back home with a win over the top-ranked team in the conference.
