2028 QB Knox Kiffin, son of Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin, set to officially join Oxford High football

The son of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin will be playing his high school football right down the road from the Rebels this fall.
After playing his freshman campaign at Palos Verde (Calif.) last season, quarterback Knox Kiffin will officially join the Oxford (Miss.) High football program next month, according to 247Sports. The move was previously reported earlier this year and Kiffin is now making the move from the Golden State to the Magnolia State.
Kiffin received minimal varsity action as a freshman for Palos Verde — which won a California state title in 2024. He’ll now look to make an impact on an Oxford program that went 6-5 last fall and finished as the No. 34 team in Mississippi, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.
Following a 1-4 start, the Chargers rattled off five wins in a row before seeing their season come to an end against Germantown in November. Kiffin will look to compete for the starting job as a sophomore this fall.
The signal-caller landed his first Power Four offer last May from SMU. He’s since added offers from Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Sacramento State, Murray State and most recently FIU.
