Georgia High School Basketball: Hawks-Naismith Tipoff Classic to feature top teams and recruits

The final two months of the year will see the high school football and basketball seasons blend together. Hardwood action will get going across the nation this week.
Later this month, a big basketball showcase in Georgia returns for another year. The Hawks-Naismith Tipoff Classic is set for Saturday, Nov. 22 in Atlanta at the Holy Innocents Episcopal School. The event will feature a pair of girls games and four boys games.
Of the 12 teams that will be in action, 10 are entering the season as top-20 teams in the Peach State, according to the Massey Ratings. Holy Innocents’ No. 8 girls team and No. 11 boys team will both play on their home court.
The games will feature 13 ranked prospects throughout the 2026, 27 and 28 cycles, too. It’s one of two early-season events for Hawks-Naismith, as it’ll also put on the Holiday Classic in Norcross, Ga. on Dec. 13. That field will also feature a plethora of top Georgia programs.
