The postseason continued in the Sunflower State last week, and another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Kansas high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Nov. 11.

1. Andale Indians

The Indians dominated Clay Center in the Kansas high school football Class 5A regionals 51-6. Sam Harp rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns, while Jack Horsch added 101 rushing yards and two TDs. Noah Stanley also had one rushing score. Andale advances to the sectionals, wherein they will face Pratt on November 14.

2. Maize Eagles

The Eagles defeated Wichita East in the Class 6A regionals. Brayden Myovela torched the Aces defense with 304 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Shannon Jones added another rushing TD, while Pearce George had a receiving score. Maize will play against Manhattan in the sectionals on November 14.

3. Mill Valley Jaguars

The Jaguars edged powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in the Kansas high school football Class 5A regionals 28-27. Max Piva finished with 84 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Blake Jay passed for 133 yards, rushed for 109, and scored a TD. Stone Zambo added 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Garrett Cox made a fumble recovery. Mill Valley will face St. James Academy on November 14.

4. Great Bend Panthers

The Panthers improved to 10-0 after defeating Bishop Carroll in the Class 5A regionals 49-7. Daxton Minton rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns, while Ian Premer added 138 rushing yards and two TDs. Conner Holladay tallied 63 rushing yards and two scores, while Cooper Ohnmacht had an interception on defense. Great Bend will advance to the sectionals and will face Hays on the 14th.

5. St. James Academy Thunder

The Thunder’s season continues after beating Spring Hill in the Kansas high school football Class regionals. Jake House finished with 108 rushing yards and a touchdown, while John Hornback and Alec Jett connected on a touchdown pass. This victory by St. James Academy sets up a showdown with Mill Valley on November 14.
