New Jersey High School Football Top 25 Rankings - Nov. 3

New Jersey high school football for the sixth consecutive week continues with Don Bosco Prep Ironmen as the No. 1 ranked program out of the Garden State as the regular season concluded.
Little to no movement within the Top 5 occurred as the only team to lose was Hun School, a 31-13 decision to nationally ranked IMG Academy. Who else made the cut in the ninth set of the Top 25 rankings out of New Jersey?
The Massey Ratings, officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.
Here is the latest New Jersey high school football Top 25 rankings, according to Massey as of Nov. 3.
1. Don Bosco Prep Ironmen
The Don Bosco Prep Ironmen (9-0) put an exclamation mark on taking the top spot after a 31-6 thrashing of St. Peter’s Prep last week.
Don Bosco Prep opened the season with a 14-10 win over Melissa (TX) and followed it up with another out-of-state team in Monarch (Fla.), defeating the Knights 38-21 at home. The Ironmen soundly defeated St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) a couple few ago, 28-0. The Ironmen a couple weeks ago faced No. 7 ranked DePaul Catholic and came away with a convincing 47-15 victory.
Next up for the top-ranked Don Bosco Prep is the NJSIAA Non-Public playoffs as they are slated to take on Seton Hall Prep, whom they defeated 40-7 a few weeks ago, in the opening round.
2. Bergen Catholic Crusaders
The last time the Bergen Catholic Crusaders (7-2) have lost two games or more was 2019. Since then, the Crusaders have averaged just one loss a season but that changed as they lost a heartbreaking, 43-42 overtime game to St. Joseph Regional a couple weeks ago.
The Crusaders have had themselves a doozy of a regular season opener when they defeated East St. Louis (Ill.) at the Battle at the Beach Classic in Ocean City. Bergen Catholic followed up that with another impressive win down in South Florida, defeating West Boca Raton (Fla.), 21-14.
Bergen Catholic ended the regular season with a dominating, 40-0 win over Seton Hall Prep last week and will start the postseason against Saint Joseph.
3. St. Joseph Regional Green Knights
St. Joseph Regional (7-2) moved up the rankings one spot after they defeated DePaul Catholic, 31-14, last week. This week they’ll take on Delbarton to open up the Non-Public postseason in the opening round.
The Green Knights got things rolling this 2025 season when they traveled down to the nation’s capital to face St. John’s College High coming away with a 34-19 win to kickoff the season and then followed it up with a 48-0 victory over Cardinal Hayes (N.Y.).
The Green Knights feature one of the most talented secondaries around, led by Tennessee commit KJ McClain. St. Joseph Regional has another tough matchup this week when they take on No. 7 DePaul Catholic.

4. Hun School Raiders
The Hun School (6-3) dropped their third game of the season, but this time it was a 31-13 loss at home to nationally ranked IMG Academy.
The Raiders recently cruised past Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, 42-0, and then couple weeks ago soundly defeated winless Mt. Zion Prep, 48-0. Hun School relies on a stout defense, led by a pair of senior defensive ends in Luke Wafle (USC commit) and Seth Clarke (Rice commit).
Hun School closes out their 2025 season on Saturday against St. Thomas More of Connecticut.
5. St. Peter’s Prep Marauders
St. Peter’s Prep (7-2) went up against top ranked Don Bosco Prep last week and ended up dropping their second game of the season in a 31-6 loss.
St. Peter’s Prep, before the losses to DePaul Catholic and Don Bosco Prep, had won their previous four games by an average of 32 points and their most recent win before St. Joseph Regional came over a talented Delbarton group, 42-7. The Marauders feature one of the Garden State’s most potent offenses, which includes a pair of four-star talents in offensive lineman Oluwasemilore Olubobola and running back Abdul Turay.
The Marauders will take on St. Augustine Prep in the opening round of the postseason.
