Top quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class are putting up some eye-popping numbers this year as the high school regular season nears it close across the country.

With the playoffs in sight, these QBs have a chance to set new state records in some cases — but more importantly set their team up for postseason success in the next few weeks.

On3 is tracking the numbers for the country’s best passers below:

Note: Florida State QB commit Tramell Jones and Missouri QB commit Matt Zollers are out indefinitely with lower leg injuries, and Georgia QB commit Ryan Montgomery will miss his entire senior season with a torn ACL suffered in Week 1.

Five-Star Plus+ Bryce Underwood
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 1
High SchoolBelleville (Mich.)
Status: Committed to LSU
Stats (through 10/23): 76/104 (73%), 1,228 yards, 19 TDs, 1 INT

Underwood has shown why he is not only the nation’s top quarterback, but the No. 1 ranked player regardless of position this fall. He has his team out to an 8-0 start and leads one of the state’s most prolific offenses. Arguably his most impressive jump this fall hasn’t come throwing the ball, but rushing it. In addition to his 19 passing TDs, he’s run for multiple touchdowns in a few different games this season.

Five-Star Plus+ Tavien St. Clair
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 2
High SchoolBellefontaine (Ohio)
Status: Committed to Ohio State
Stats (through 10/23): 130/190 (68.4%), 2,095 yards, 27 TDs, 4 INTs

The Ohio State-bound QB has been as dominant as advertised through two-thirds of the regular season, adding five rushing touchdowns to his 27 scores through the air.

5-star Keelon Russell
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 12
High SchoolDuncanville (Texas)
Status: Committed to Alabama
Stats (through 10/23): 138/187 (73.8%), 2,094 yards, 31 TDs, 1 INT

Russell is putting up one of the most prolific seasons in Texas high school football history at the quarterback position, ringing up an eye-popping 31 touchdowns through six games. If he can continue this pace, he has a chance to put together one of the state’s all-time passing seasons.

5-star Husan Longstreet
On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 23
High SchoolCentennial (Calif.)
Status: Committed to Texas A&M
Stats (through 10/23): 83/129 (64.3%), 1,272 yards, 14 TDs, 4 INT

Longstreet opened the season dealing with some injury woes but has shown off his rocket arm and impressive athleticism while leading the Huskies to a top-5 California ranking. In addition to his passing numbers, he’s rushed for more than 300 yards and five scores.

5-star Matt Zollers
On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 31
High SchoolSpring-Ford (Pa.)
Status: Committed to Missouri
Stats (through 10/23): 54/92 (58.7%), 611 yards, 3 TDs, 3 INT (233 rushing yards, 3 TDs)

Zollers has had an up-and-down start to his senior season through the air but has proven to be one of the country’s most dynamic dual-threat QBs. Unfortunately, he suffered a gruesome ankle injury that will cause him to miss the rest of the season.

5-star Deuce Knight
On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 32
High SchoolGeorge County (Miss.)
Status: Committed to Auburn
Stats (through 10/23): 43/64 (67.2%), 1,058 yards, 14 TDs, 1 INT

Knight, who flipped from Notre Dame to Auburn earlier this month, was terrific through three games for George County before going down with an injury. He’s back on the field though and threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns last week.

4-star Julian Lewis
On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 36
High SchoolCarrollton (Ga.)
Status: Committed to USC
Stats (through 10/23): 156/205 (76.1%), 2,259 yards, 34 TDs, 4 INT

Lewis has been one of the nation’s most prolific passers dating back to his freshman season, and his senior campaign is no different. The USC pledge is completing better than 75% of his passes and has Carrollton ranked No. 2 in Georgia heading into this weekend’s games.

4-star George MacIntyre
On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 104
High SchoolBrentwood Academy (Tenn.)
Status: Committed to Tennessee
Stats (through 10/23): 120-171 (70.1%), 1,647 yards, 8 TDs, 3 INT

MacIntyre struggled mightily last season while Brentwood finished 2-10, but the Eagles are 5-3 this season behind improved play from him.

4-star Bryce Baker

: No. 105
High SchoolEast Forsyth (N.C.)

High SchoolNoxubee County (Miss.)
Status: Committed to Mississippi State
Stats (through 10/23): 95/162 (58.6%), 1,453 yards, 17 TDs, 3 INT

One of the nation’s most dynamic dual-threat quarterbacks, Taylor has led his squad to a 5-2 record while adding 825 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground to his passing totals.

High SchoolCampbell (Hawaii)
Status: Committed to Cal
Stats (through 10/23): 152/205 (74.1%), 2,524 yards, 39 TDs, 2 INT

Keawe-Sagapolutele was one of the biggest surprises at this summer’s Elite 11 Finals, and the Cal commit has been even better this fall. The Golden Bears will have to work hard to keep him though, as Oregon — where he’s taking an official visit this week — and Georgia are among the schools circling.

4-star Ty Hawkins
On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 183
High SchoolIMG Academy (Fla.)
Status: Committed to SMU
Stats (through 10/23): 52/79 (65.8%), 764 yards, 9 TDs, 0 INT

Hawkins transferred to national powerhouse IMG Academy this season and has provided them a huge spark at the quarterback position. The Ascenders have been off for a few weeks, a combination of byes and postponements due to the recent hurricanes in Florida.

4-star K.J. Lacey
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 190
High SchoolSaraland (Ala.)
Status: Committed to Texas
Stats (through 10/23): 90/147 (61.2%), 1,493 yards, 21 TDs, 4 INT

Stats (through 10/23): 91/153 (59.5%), 1,434 yards, 11 TDs, 7 INT

The son of Ducks legend Akili Smith, Akili Jr. has been on a bit of a roller-coaster this year with his consistency throwing the ball. Despite that, Lincoln still sits at 6-2 and is among the top 25 teams in the Golden State.

: No. 199
High SchoolBishop Verot (Fla.)
Status: Committed to Michigan

4-star Luke Nickel

: No. 249
High SchoolMilton (Ga.)
Status: Committed to Miami

High SchoolGuyer (Texas)
Status: Committed to Oklahoma
Stats (through 10/23): 99/175 (56.6%), 1,359 yards, 16 TDs, 4 INT

After moving in from Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert over the summer, Sperry has had a very up-and-down senior season for Guyer, one of the state’s perennial powers. He is, however, coming off one of his best games of the season last weekend where he threw for three touchdowns and added 91 yards on the ground.
