Can't say I'm surprised, clearly the best team in the country so far, but I can see reasoning for IU or TAMU. Oregon is definitely one of the two best wins in the country and TAMU's win over ND is arguably better than OSU's win over Texas. Oregon at 9 is criminal...

Part of me wanted them to be #2 or #3 so Day could use it as motivation. But if you want a bye, #1 is the best place to be

A&M giving up 42 pts to Arkansas should eliminate any conversation of them being #1.

Can we also please please please stop giving a g5 team an auto bid. If you can't even make the top 25 rankings you shouldn't be in the playoffs.

But Texas A&M is number 1 in strength of record because they beat 5 of the bottom 7 SEC teams. How can you not reward that level of dominance over suck?

Like I think it’s more of an issue ranking vandy and Tennessee. So you’re telling me you would rank Louisville,UVA Utah should be over OU and Texas? I’m sorry no Ole Miss UGA bama and a and m are certainly top 12 worthy

I think they are pretty good. Ole miss should be a bit lower but overall no big issues.

Texas being ranked so high == good for Ohio State. Keep winning Longhorns

Yea I tend to agree I hate the SEC more than anyone but they are always the best and deepest conference. Where I draw the line is with the bad bad sec type teams being treated as good .

Tennessee shouldn't be ranked. But that is where my only big issue is and that is the #25 team somehow cares.
