I consider this a good thing. CFB fans anticipating conference championship weekend will tune in beyond their own personal conference interests to get their "fix".

That Friday night slot is a tv ratings bomb. That’s where they throw all the G5 games. 🤦‍♂️ It’s where the PAC 12 game used to be and it never drew well.

We are done... They *ESPN/ABC/Mouse are showing us (WVU and the Big XII) where we are in the pecking order. Better get used to second citizen treatment....

The ACC championship game usually draws about the same as a Pitt home game.

Why? We used to feast from Thursday night primetime games and it boosted us as a known commodity around the country cuz we were the only a major show on and ppl tuned in. Is there something we'll be competing against Friday night?

Maybe it was the product? Also, no one other than the West Coast cared about the Pac 12.

Why does everyone seem to think we "were moved?" I think it was probably the Big12s choice to move and then the ACC jumped at the chance to take our spot because they had the shittiest bowl game time. I think being the kickoff of the power conference championsips game will be a big thing. Won't be shocked at all to see a bigger number for next years game.

Because the ACC is actually the better conference contrary to what people on this board will tell you. The Big 12 is nothing more than the old Conference USA on steroids.

The teams? Clemson, FSU and Miami all have more football prestige than anyone in our conference. Basketball is the same when it comes to UNC and Duke compared to our Kansas.

Yeah that’s not true at all, especially with FSU and Clemson falling to mediocrity of below. Miami went on a roll, but they also lost to SMU and Louisville, didn’t qualify for the ACC Championship Game, and almost were left out of the CFP. Additionally, they have 4-5 schools who should be playing in the FCS.

I heard last week on the big 12 today show that the big 12 title game will alternate between Friday and Saturday going forward

The first two are bad now, with both calling for the firing of their coaches. Neither wants to be in the ACC. The Big 12 is widely known as the best basketball conference in the country.

Remember years ago when VT, Miami, Pitt, BC etc first left for the ACC? The Big East tv contract came up for renewal and ESPN offered the conference around $10 million per school while the ACC was making roughly $20-25 mil per school? The Big East at that time was superior on both the basketball court and the football field but our TV partners viewed us at less than half the ACC's value. Brands matter and all teams have ups and downs, look no further than us for proof of that. The hard reality is the ACC has FAR better brands than the new Big 12 and honestly their on the field performance isn't any worse than ours in either of the major sports.

It's the slot. Even USC & Oregon didn't draw well. No one thinks about conference title games on Friday night. It is what it is

Not really. Nobody else playing that night High School is fone and basketball playing meaningless games. Big 12 is not the PAC. To get a night game PAC had to kick at at 10 to 11 PM EST. Big 12 will not. They could kick at 8 or 9 EST.

Wonder why they all are begging to get out if the conference is so awesome?
