on the schedule are on point from ACC Network last night. These kids need to learn how to play tough. One play at a time and wins will follow. He wants the job back so bad.

It must kill him to see such incompetence running the program right now.

Big talk from the one who literally tanked the program. We do need adults back in the room but Jimbo likely ain’t it.

So many of you forget he held FSU hostage every year for 3 years before he left, and then he left like a thief in the night, Christmas tree on the side of the road. If he was such a great coach with all the $ he had at A&M he should have done more. I for one would never bring him back as a coach here. It is like you want to go back to your ex wife who stepped out on you with pool boy because she is available again. If he is such a great hire now why have no other schools offered him???

I believe why you don’t see him getting a coaching job is 3 pronged, financially secure and has a gig, contributed FSU decline, and started todo the same at Texas AM. He isn’t academic friendly. Example 20 coaching jobs came open and not much talk about him. Not a popular commodity in coaching circle at present.

everyone is entitled to their opinion on jimbo after the bad breakup. but one thing I don't think can be debated is that he would be a much better head coach than our current clown.
he is spot on that we need to focus on being tough and violent. norvell has bred a soft finesse culture that simply can't compete with physical opponents. we got bullied by uva and stanford (among others), let that sink in. that's how soft norvell has made this program.

Jimbo was and is a better coach than MN especially in coaching and recruiting I’d take Jimbo back in a heartbeat MN has been at FSU for almost 7 years and how many winning seasons I’m just ready for my NOLES to be great again

Also, what you just posted is a rumor regardless of what you "heard" that isn't how it played out. I've said it before, mistakes were made, but that last season doesn't define anything that Jimbo did here, The statements he made in that clip are 100% true. Hurts me to say it but this team has played soft.Dude, Jimbo stopped recruiting. That is the lifeline of your program even more so back then without the portal. Do any of us believe that Jimbo and Alford would get along? Instead of money for facilities Jimbo would be wearing ole Mike out about money for players. Mike Alford would not know what hit him.

Was Jimbo better than Mike? Obviously. He is not right for this job. Do any of you remember his offenses? How bad the Olines were? How Dalvin was pretty much a 1 man offense for 2 years?
Not as important but still important. He treats people like crap. I know few of you hold character above wins but I'm sure the people in that building have no interest in working with that a hole ever again.
