They may very well finish as the runner up but some around Ohio State feels like their near the top of this recruitment at the moment

If he is serious about the winning aspect, the choice should be obvious in the top 3.

If you had to bet right now would your money be on the folks from Lubbock?

Even if OSU is competitive on the NIL front here, I think relationships favor Tech, since their HC is the former HC at Brewster's HS and is apparently a legend there.

Gotta drum up a little suspense. Does Fong a get a little taste from Brewster's agent, who was liberally quoted in the article, or does Fong just get three exclusives to be named later?

We know TTU is top of the food chain when it comes to willingness to spend in NIL. The fact that OSU is playing with them is at least a good sign for where NIL is going at OSU

Gonna be a bit cynical here. Easy to say that you are willing to pay someone a large number when you know for a fact that someone else is willing to pay an astronomical number. You'll never have to actually follow through with the offer.

I love the fact that we are near the top. That means the coaches are doing all they can do in building relations and showing how we can develop. That's all you can ask. But then the reality of college football 2025 enters, which means NIL. I have little doubt that we will put our best foot forward here, but I am having a hard time thinking we're going to beat out TT since they have shown then will spend whatever it takes and have the added advantage of being a home state school. I soooooo hope I am wrong because I believe this is a freshman starter and those are the ones you pay big for.

I refuse to have any hope that LJ can land (or keep) a big time recruit these days but I would absolutely love to eat some crow. I'll believe it when I see it.
