I’ve been saying that I felt Self was coming back and I’m sticking with that. My gut tells me he’s coming back. Nothing is official until its official, but I just have a gut feeling.

I hope you are correct. It just surprises me that he's made the program unstable for this length of time. I can't imagine he'll let this go much longer.

Appreciate you sharing your opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if there are negotiations going on that are causing it to take a bit. I understand not rushing something like this anyway..

I would imagine that if Bill is coming back JV's contract is getting re-negotiated as more of a head coach in waiting. I think all along they would like to keep it in the family and get JV a couple of years under Bill before he takes the reigns. By the way recruits have mentioned JV being on staff as a major positive for them. How about we run Bill's D and JV's NBA O next year? Let JV be the offensive coordinator.

Then please provide plausible explanations as to why he is drawing this announced intention to return out so long? If he was confident in his decision to return. What does he hope to gain by drawing his public announcement to stay???
