Completely agree. Unfortunately for him, I just don’t see how the team comes back from this. This is the “easy” part of the conference schedule.

I think we would. I love Will Wade, but I’d rather get someone else.

When we make the move, I hope BBall NIL explodes like football did, if that happens great days ahead, if now, we will continue to have coaching searches

That would be great! But Beard turned out Texas A&M last year and is getting $6 million per year for the next five years. Would Verge get enough money together to offer Beard $8-9 million a year?

I know most everyone wants will wade. I personally, think Chris Beard is better and the melt from Oxford would be insane

I think the shortlist is so short that it has one name and one name only on it. Look at the context clues. An AD who relentlessly goes after fan favorites, and Rousse who is a fan of….

It’s going to be Frank William Wade III. LSU basketball doesn’t have the donors, they know Wade brings those with him. They also know that his first game back the PMac will be sold out. He wants to come back, just do it. LSU will be the villains of college football and basketball.

Same here. Unpopular opinion - MM is a better x an o coach and teacher of fundamentals than Wade. His teams are fundamentally sound. Wade could build a successful program if your definition of that is sweet 16 as the ceiling. Dale was similar but was an all time great motivator - Wade is good but he isn't that. So I guess it's what you want. I'd like sweet 16 as the floor with occasional deeper runs. I like coaches who played the sport and can teach - everyone else will give inconsistent results.

I keep seeing people saying this about the injuries. Jalen Reed was coming off the bench. He was starting to play better but he was not a top 2 player or a player you could least afford to lose. That narrative needs to stop. In all honesty the only player you could not lose from this team was Thomas. Everyone else’s role/skill/production was replaceable.

Yeah and also Jalen Reed is also done for the season. I like MM also but bottom line as Mr. Kelly will tell you is you can't keep losing games at LSU and think you gonna be around next year.

Ive been saying this for months Wade will be the next BB coach

They blew the UK game because they couldn’t defend nor did MM bother to switch things up when they were floundering. Plain and simple, he’s a bad coach. Low energy, doesn’t recruit well, is about as bland as mushy white rice
